Well, it sure has been nice to have a quiet day - feels like we've been going non-stop since we arrived. Yesterday was a jam packed day where we saw 22 people get married. The weddings were beautiful and the food was amazing! We had two meals within two hours of each other because of the multiple wedding receptions. The meals had goat, fish, chicken, traditional local dishes, break, gozo, bread and rice and fried bananas! The service was very interesting as well. Today has been more quiet as it is Sunday but we still have more wedding receptions to attend.
Also, we wanted to wish our fathers happy father's day! We will be sure to bring you back some good father's day presents.
This upcoming week will be busy with more time in the hospital, learning sango and teaching english and participating in the local community. Have to go to the next wedding now... til the next time, God bless!

Don't get any ideas with all those weddings. Remember, you have upteen million more years of university!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you guys are having loads of fun, so time must be flying by quickly - but for those of us who are missing you, time's standing still. Wishing you loads of adventure all the same, and praying for you guys and all the work you've been called to do! Lotsa love!
